During the Third European Mars Society Conference, EMC 2003, the participants decided to hold the Fourth European Mars Society Conference in Iasi, Romania, in July 26-28, 2004, according to the offer made by the Technical University of Iasi, Romania.

The organizers of EMC'04 are the European chapters of the Mars Society and the International Mars Society. The local organizers are the National Institute of Inventics, Romania, the Technical University of Iasi, Faculty of Electronics & Telecommunications, the University "Al.I. Cuza" of Iasi, and the Institute for Computer Science, Iasi.

Interested participants are invited to submit 300 words abstracts until June 15, 2004, preferably via e-mail, to the address: Prof. H.N. Teodorescu, hteodor@etc.tuiasi.ro, Romanian Academy, Iasi Branch, Bd Carol I, nr. 8, Iasi, Romania, and a copy to isidor@etc.tuiasi.ro.

The participants in EMC'04 will have the opportunity to participate in the Third European Conference on Intelligent Systems & Technologies, ECIT2004, with reduced fees.
