Our Faculty offers, during the academic year 2001-2002, four Master in Science (MS) programs.

This year, the only MS program in English offered by us is in "Biomedical Engineering and Intelligent Systems".

Classes in English can be offered at every Master in science program.

This program is opened to international students

Classes begin October 1, 2001. The program is an intensive one and ends in June 2002.

The curricula includes an optional class on English writing and communication for researchers, and classes on intelligent systems and applications in bio-medical engineering and human-related sciences. Topics covered include, among others:

Notes

1. A rough (see Notice (1)) estimation of the costs for textbooks and notebooks for one academic year may be 300 USD.
2. For accommodation in Iasi (1), you may pay in the range 35 - 75 USD per month, plus utilities, per room.
3. Meals are rather inexpensive, if you prepare them yourselves. About 50 to 100 USD may be what you pay for meals, per month (1). Eating in a cafeteria may cost you about 200-400 USD per month.
4. Public transportation is cheap. You may need 10 to 20 USD per month for public transportation. Taxi cabs are also very cheap and plenty.

(1) We do not offer any guarantee for the correctness of these figures. We believe that the amounts stated above are close to the average correct figres, but we are not sure. Former Romanian students have described their regular, overall monthly expenes in the range 100 -150 USD, but these figures may also be unreliable.
