Contest “ Microcontroller and applications- Mihail Konteschweller” the first editon 2010
On the 8th of May, 2010 the Faculty of Electronics, Telecomunications and Information Technology organized a Contest of Microcontrollers sponsored by Microchip and Infineon. The organization committee was formed by: .dr.ing. H.N. Teodorescu m.c., ş.l.dr.ing. C. Aghion, asist.ing. M. Zbancioc. The contest had the following sections:
a) Applications with microcontrollers;
b) Designing structures of microcontrollers.
The winners were:
First prize: Pascal Adrian, Brânză Mihai, Andone Adrian, coordinator: Lecturer Andrei Bragarenco,” Platforma mobilă ghidată la distanţă", Technical University of Republic of Moldova
Second Prize: Seghedin Alexandra, Pintiliei Ionuţ, coordinator: Lecturer D. M., "Sistem robotic inteligent bio-inspirat", ETTI, Technical University "Gheorghe Asachi" from Iaşi;
Third prize: Iulian Mitrea, Strugariu Evelin, coordinator: prof. Lazar Alexandru, “ Self parking car”, ETTI, Technical University “ Gh. Asachi “ Iasi;

Infineon Prize: Petrea George, coordinator : Lecturer Nicolau, “ Signals processing multiprocessor system”, University Dunarea de Jos Galati
Prizes have consisted of storage devices (external HDD) offered by Infineon Technologies Romania si development boards, microcontrollers, and refund of maximum 200 RON for the electronics components for the participating teams – offered by Microchip Technology.
