Emotional tones

The registered sentences are: "Mother is coming" ("Vine mama", like romanian), "Who did that?" ("Cine a facut asta" , like romanian), "Last night" ("Aseara", like romanian), and "You came to me again" ("Ai venit iar la mine", like romanian). The recordings comply with the Recording Protocol and were saved in 16 and 24 bits mono in .wav format.

This page contains:
1. Files with emotional states of mind and comparisons between them. Every file contains a certain sentence uttered seven times. The order of utterances corresponds to the following states of mind: happiness, sadness, joy, hate, optimism, pessimism, sorrow.

2. Files mainly intended for the analysis comparing speakers. For every emotional state of mind (joy, sadness, anger, upset, fright) and the neutral tone, three utterances of the same sentence were registered.

3. Validated emotional database

The analysis of emotions in determining the formants and the results obtained can be found here.
