The user is advised not to use incremental steps for the window larger than a 10-th of a sound duration. This duration is in natural speech of several milliseconds. Here, the incremental steps will be at most 0,1 milliseconds, according to the sampling frequency, as follows:

- For a frequency of 16KHz,  n= (0,1/(1/16000))*10^-3
- For a frequency of 22KHz, n= (0,1/(1/22000))*10^-3 
- For a frequency of 44KHz, n= (0,1/(1/44000))*10^-3
etc.
