The Romanian Language has no free web-based sound archive so far. Most European languages have such archives. The lack is felt both in
research and teaching activities. Therefore, we took the initiative to build a sound archive.
For the moment, our goals are quite limited. We achieved a small archive, with no special recording qualities (see
Recording Protocol). The archive is available here. Its webpage is
in the initial stage.
This site was conceived in order to host a "dictionary of sounds" for the Romanian language. The site content may be used for free
for educational and research purposes, provided that credit is given appropriately.
