Phrases with double subject

The recordings comply with the Recording Protocol and were saved on 16 and 24 bits mono in .wav format. For a comparative study, the phrases have been recorded also with a simple subject.
Recordings for several phrases considered to have double subject in the Romanian language were performed:
  • Vine ea mama! (*Mother, she is coming!)
  • "A trecut el aşa un răstimp", (M. Sadoveanu) (*Passed he has thus a time.)
  • O şti el careva cum să rezolve asta. (*He would know, someone, how to solve this.)
  • Mama vine şi ea mai târziu. (*Mother is coming she also later.)
  • Mama ştie ea ce face. (*Mother, she knows what she is doing.)
  • Chiar ştie el ce face? (Does he really know what he is doing?)

After the pronunciation of the sentences with neutral tone, particular pronunciations were tried as well, such as the accentuation of the pronoun which represents the double subject:
  • Vine ea mama! (*Mother, she is coming!)
  • "A trecut el aşa un răstimp", (M. Sadoveanu) (*Passed he has thus a time.)
  • O şti el careva cum să rezolve asta. (*He would know, someone, how to solve this.)
  • Mama vine şi ea mai târziu. (*Mother is coming she also later.)
  • Mama ştie ea ce face. (*Mother, she knows what she is doing.)
  • Chiar ştie el ce face? (*Does he really know what he is doing?)

the accentuation of the word following the pronoun:
  • "A trecut el aşa un răstimp", (M. Sadoveanu) (*Passed he thus an interval.)
  • O şti el careva cum să rezolve asta. (*It will know he someone to solve that.)
  • Mama vine şi ea mai târziu. (*Mother is coming she also later.)

or the development of the sentence:
  • Vine ea mama azi. (*Mother she is coming today!)
  • A trecut el asa un rastimp de lung. (*Passed he thus a long interval.)
  • O sti el careva, Gheorghe, cum sa rezolve asta? (*It will know he someone, Gheorghe, to solve that.)

The recordings were then annotated on multiple levels. The first level consists in the segmentation of the sentences in phonemes. Subsequently, the phonemes have been grouped at syllable, word and sentence level. For each phrase, the subject and its double have been annotated. The last level contains prosody remarks, mainly on different accentuations.
